Associate Director - Project and Acquisition Finance - AUC08883 Associate Director, Project and Acquisition Finance Full time, Permanent Role Based in Britomart, Auckland
A pivotal role within Westpac Institutional Bank Loan Product team.
An opportunity to originate, structure and execute a wide range of acquisition and project finance transactions

About the role: Reporting to the Director, Head of Loan Product, the role is primarily responsible for originating, structuring and executing acquisition and project finance transactions and developing long-term, sustainable customer relationships for a portfolio of existing and target customers for Westpac’s Institutional and Corporate banking teams.
This is an opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated banking professional to use their origination and loan structuring skills. The role is well supported by the wider Corporate and Structured Finance team and the Institutional and Corporate relationship team who assist in the origination and execution of transactions.
What you’ll need to succeed:
Degree in Finance, Commerce, or Accounting or an equivalent qualification.
Prior acquisition and/or project finance experience is preferable but general corporate or other forms of experience such as corporate treasury may be desirable
Strong understanding of the NZ business and economic environment noting that a good knowledge of the Australasian PE and Infrastructure sectors in particular would be advantageous.
Superior financial analysis, structuring, stakeholder management and communication skills.
Good understanding of project and acquisition finance and sound credit and modelling skills.
